George Mason shuttle service remains in operation until Friday, December 20. There will be no shuttle service between December 21 and January 5, 2025. All shuttle services will operate on winter break service hours starting Monday, January 6, 2025.

When purchasing a permit online at My Parking Portal, payments can be made with Visa, Mastercard, or electronic check. A $50 administrative fee will be applied to accounts with insufficient funds or if the account number or routing number is entered incorrectly.

Most Fairfax Campus parking permits and Mason Square permits are valid in non-restricted areas of the SciTech campus except West Campus and Lot M/P permits.
SciTech parking permits and Beacon Hall resident parking permits are valid at the Fairfax campus in non-designated General parking spaces but NOT at Mason Square without permission from Mason Square Parking Services Office.

Parking Enforcement
All faculty, staff, students, and Beacon Hall residents must own a valid virtual Mason parking permit and have the license plate of the vehicle parked associated with that permit. For more information on short-term and hourly parking rates, go to the Visitors and Event Parking Page.
Parking Services will monitor and enforce the permit requirement in all restricted areas. See permit rules & regulations for details.

Beacon Hall Shops Parking Lots
Retail Side – The retail side of the Shops parking lot (left side facing the building) is for retail patrons and has a three-hour time limit for parking. Retail employees must display a valid retail employee permit given to them by their employer. The retail employee permit is only valid in the retail lot while working.
Mason Permit Side – The event side of the Shops parking lot (right side facing the building) is for Mason Faculty/Staff or event attendees. A valid Mason parking permit is required, except during Hylton Performing Arts Center special events. No Beacon Hall residents or student parking at any time. There is no overnight parking.
Beacon Hall Resident Parking Lot
The Beacon Hall Resident Lot is for Beacon Hall Resident parking permit holders only. A valid Beacon Hall Resident parking permit is required.
Fuel-Efficient Parking Spaces: The resident lot has six fuel-efficient parking spaces for residents who also have a complimentary fuel-efficient sticker on their vehicles. Any vehicle parked in a fuel-efficient space without a fuel-efficient sticker on the vehicle and a valid Mason parking permit will receive a citation. To get a complimentary fuel-efficient sticker, please come to the parking services office in Colgan Hall, Room 112.
Tower Parking Lot
Visitors must have a valid Mason parking permit, or they must pay for hourly parking.
Hylton Performing Arts Center Parking Lot
A valid Mason parking permit is required except for Hylton Performing Arts Center special events where event signage is displayed.
Freedom Aquatic Center Parking Lot
Parking in the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center Parking Lot is restricted to patrons while on center premises using the facility. If you are using the facility then have class or other business in the other campus buildings, you must move your car to the Occoquan, King, Discovery, Hylton (except during Hylton events), or the Tower parking lots. Failure to move your vehicle will put you at risk of receiving a parking citation.
Visitors (Parking Map PDF)
Visitors to the SciTech Campus may purchase daily, weekly, and monthly permits online and park in the non-designated parking spaces of the Occoquan, Discovery, and Tower lots.
- Daily Parking: Visit via My Parking Portal or visit the SciTech Parking Services Office in Colgan Hall, Room 122.
- Hourly Parking: To pay for hourly parking, use the ParkMobile app or call (877) 727-5758.
- A vehicle that leaves a paid space prior to the expiration of time relinquishes any balance of time without a refund. The balance of time does not transfer to any other space.
- Event Parking: Please follow the special event signage for directions to your designated parking lot for your event.
- Complimentary 30-minute parking spaces are available in the Occoquan Lot. Two complimentary 15-minute parking spaces are available in front of the Occoquan Lot on George Mason Circle.

Event Parking
Event coordinators may purchase daily permits or pay to exempt a lot/area from permit enforcement. Please contact Events Management (3-8140) for information on meeting your event needs. Organizations can purchase validations from Parking Services for their guests. Please complete the SciTech Campus Special Events Form.

- All event requests are individually reviewed and are subject to approval by the parking services office on a case-by-case basis. Not all requests may be accommodated based upon the time, date, and location of the event.
- All visitor parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and the exemption of a lot or the purchase of validation does not guarantee parking availability.

ADA Accessible Parking
Available in each parking lot. The vehicle must display a valid DMV-issued ADA-accessible parking permit (tag or placard) and own a valid Mason parking permit or payment required. DMV permits alone are not valid for parking in campus parking areas or lots.
Fuel-Efficient Vehicle Parking
Fuel-efficient vehicles may park at designated parking spaces with a valid supplemental permit along with a Mason parking permit. These parking spaces are located at Occoquan, King, Discovery, Hylton, and Beacon Hall lots. To request a free supplemental fuel-efficient parking permit, please bring your vehicle registration to SciTech Campus Parking Services, Colgan Hall, Room 112.
Motorcycles & Mopeds
All motorcycles and mopeds must have a valid Mason permit. Parking is only permitted in dedicated motorcycle parking areas with a motorcycle permit or in a regular vehicle space with a valid parking permit. Motorcycles and mopeds are not allowed to park at bike racks/shelters.
Motorcycle parking spaces are available in the King and Discovery lots at SciTech Campus.

Electric Scooters
Electric personal scooters do not require a permit. They must be parked at or adjacent to a bike rack and cannot impede ADA access. Electric personal and shared mobility scooters are only allowed to be ridden on roadways. They are not permitted in any Mason buildings and must not be charged at any University source of electricity.
- Fairfax / SciTech (Prince William) Shuttle: The Fairfax/SciTech shuttle operates between the Fairfax and SciTech campuses with an off-site stop at the Manassas Mall.
- OmniLink Buses: OmniLink buses provide local service in eastern Prince William County and Manassas.
- OmniRide 60 provides service from Tysons Corner Metro Station to Balls Ford Commuter Lot with a stop at the Manassas Mall (Entrance 4).
- OmniRide 65N provides service from Prince William Courthouse to NOVA Community College with a stop at Manassas Mall (Entrance 4).
- OmniRide 65B provides service from Prince William Courthouse to Balls Ford Commuter Lot with a stop at Manassas Mall (Entrance 4).
- East-West Express provides service between the Woodbridge area and Prince William Courthouse.
