If you scoot, please

  • Yield to pedestrians who are crossing the street.
  • Park at the nearest scooter corral (shared scooters) or bike rack (shared and personally owned scooters)
  • Obey all traffic laws and signs.
  • Ride on streets or bike lanes, not sidewalks. Sidewalks are for pedestrians.
  • Park your e-scooter correctly so it is not a safety hazard for others.
  • Ride on the side closest to the Johnson Center and David King Hall on Wilkins Plaza, ride with the flow of traffic, and give the right of way to pedestrians. Reduce your speed to match the rate of pedestrian traffic.
  • Walk the scooter in the dismount zone, which runs from the East Building to Enterprise Hall. See Campus Map (PDF).

If you walk, please

  • Look both ways before crossing the street.
